Meiko Lin is main character on the fanfic Glee: The Future Years. Meiko was created by Ellsweetella.
Biography[]
Her father is Chinese and her mother is Japanese. They met in America and got married there, deciding to stay there. Meiko comes from a pretty much normal family. She is taught how to be polite, elegant and graceful. In her family, one must not be rude, one must respect the elders, one must be kind, gentle, get into a good university and have a high-paying job that is stable then, she will marry into a good family and have children. She loves her family, but she secretly wishes to be free and do whatever she wants.
Season One[]
The Beginning[]
Meiko is first seen at her locker, when Gabriella goes up to her. Gabriella begins to insult Meiko, and Meiko gets angry. Ridger stops the fight, and Ridger and Meiko walk to lunch. On the way, Mr Smith walks past and puts up an audition sheet for the Glee Club. Both of them sign their names. At the auditiorium, Meiko auditions with Reflection. The next day, Meiko talks to Demi and gets her to audition. She watches Demi, J.J. and Calvin audition. Later, she gets in a fight with Gabriella, but loses. Demi runs away, and she follows her. Demi thanks her for allowing her to have friends. The next day at lunch, she gets slushied by Heather.
Love is Hard[]
Meiko gets a text from Demi in the morning, and then leaves for school. She watches the auditions of Phoenix, Lucas and Drew. She later invites Ridger over, and they sing Galaxy together. She leans into kiss him, but he rejects her, and leaves. She performs in Good Time, and gets solos in it.
The Next Step[]
She watches the auditions. Meiko invites Ridger to BreadstiX, but finds out about him and Gabriella. She gets a solo part in A Thousand Miles.
Avril Time[]
She sings in Sk8er Boi, Complicated, Keep Holding On, When You're Gone and Slipped Away. Meiko and Gabriella start to understand one another.
Past Life[]
Meiko sings in When I Look At You and Six Degrees of Separation.
The Battle[]
Meiko sings in Sitting On Top Of The World, Want U Back and Wide Awake. She gets into an argument with Gabriella.
The Lead[]
Meiko sings Skyscraper as part of the competition for the lead at Sectionals. She later has a talk with Ridger, and their relationship grows. She then sings in Party in the U.S.A..
Love Triangle[]
Meiko and Ridger's relationship is official. She sings You Belong With Me for him. She sings in DNA
